Indian Government Equality Policy

There are 2 articles that I read in the news today that has made my blood boil. Well ...I'll let you read it for yourself and I am sure you will feel the same. For those of you not familiar with India..the first one relates to a muslim and the second regarding a Hindu temple..now don't be an idot and come to a conclusion that Hinduism is not about equality for women. Among the 1000s of gods, this god is celibate and hence the restiction for this 1 temple and for this 1 god.

First Article: Orissa muslim woman told to remarry even though husband wants to be together

Kolkata, August 21: Islamic clerics in Orissa have ruled that a woman divorced by her husband in a fit of drunkenness can remarry him only after she takes another husband for one day, police said on Monday.

Second Article: Women can enter Sabarimala shrine: Kerala

Kozhikode, August 21: Reiterating his stand that the CPI(M)-led LDF government in Kerala was not opposed to allowing women entry into the Sabarimala shrine, state Devaswom Minister G Sudhakaran today said he was not aware of Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan's remarks on the issue. "If men can enter a temple, why not women," Sudhakaran asked and made it clear that his opinion as minister was always on "behalf" of the government and not as an individual. Not only the Sabarimala temple, women are entitled to enter any place where men are permitted, Sudhakaran said.


Now my question...which one of these issues should the Govt interfere in? In the name of being impartial and wanting the vote bank of the muslims the govt is not interfereing the muslim divorce case but has clearly stepped out of line in the sabarimala case to ensure "equality". There can be only 1 rule of the land and clearly that is not the case in India....someone stop these idiots in the Govt.

Lok Paritran - Receipe for success

If there is any party I actually would prefer that they win the elections it is Lok Paritran. So here are my thoughts on how they can succeed.

Brand:
I suggest that you change the name to something that would abbrivate to "IIT". Utilize the brand that you actually is bringing you the recognition. I hail from Tamil Nadu and if you campaign as Lok Paritran...TRUST ME...people won't even understand what it means and why they should vote for you. Take history..Karunanidhi and MGR utilized Anna as a brand name to come to power. Jayalalitha uses MGR as a brand. Congress "Gandhi" as a brand. You guys should use IIT as a brand so change your name.

Organization Structure:
First things first. Political parties promise something to come to power, in order to be different why don't you do something and then ask for people's vote. I know, I know...money is the key. So here is what I suggest you do. Form Non-Profit organizations for Education, Health, etc. and setup local schools with High Tech being the "key instructure". The CEOs of these non-profits will be the future MLAs and MPs. Start schools in villages and local districts for FREE. Rope in Bill Gates Foundation, Google.Org, InfoSys foundation etc for funding these ventures.

Education is Key:
If you take a leaf out of Apple's success, it is because of education. Since early childhood students are exposed to the Apple brand that make the loyal followers when they grow up. Now if you control education..you are bringing up the future voters of your party called "IIT". You can start a Television channel on the platform of education, you can give away laptops i.e. you control the medium. This will enable you to propogate your brand once you own the medium....and may I add while doing good. Do not call the Non-Profits "IIT" as this will disuade people from funding the non-profit that is also named after a political party.

Television and Internet:
You have to own a television channel in order to succeed. So go ahead and start a few channels. Education and edu-tainment being the key. Start local internet "stations" where farmers can buy and sell goods for example. Create an open-source community to help the people in India.

US and Foreign Office:
NRIs can fund your organization so go ahead and start an office to get donations from NRIs.

Think Big, Act Big:
Who ever said that running a political pary was gonna be easy. But you got to think big and act big. You think that it is a waste of your time but I would suggest getting on David Letterman, Operah Winfrey, Jay Lenno etc. All you have to do is call. Actually send them a video about you. Never compromise on quality of the people you are with. Try getting business minded people..they know the value brand recognition. Don't get someone just because they are education..it doesn't mean anything in your business. ACT LIKE A COMPANY and you will succeed.

Why India will never equal China or even come close to it

The more I think about it the more it has become apparent that India will never ever come close to China has become. There are several reasons why and lets start with population. China and Inida have crossed the 1 Billion mark in poplulation long time back but along with it comes problems. Maybe an analagy will help in making the problems apparent. Let us say you are running a restaurant which is turning in tremendous profits and it gets you thinking..you know what I want to start another and another and another etc. You can maybe have 3 restaurants that will have good quality but after that you cannot maintain the same quality. So you decide to Franchise or take in business partners...what is the gaurantee that the franchisee will have the same vision and maintain quality. Well it is a problem but not that big a problem as all Franchisees or parters are doing the same business at least. This is China. 1 party, 1 person, multiple franchisees or partners.

Just imagine if Burger King, Kinkos, Jiffy Lube and Matrix Cleaners decide to combine business and Franchise it. Multiply this with 1/4 th of the popluation speaking English, 1/4th Spanish, 1/4th Hindi and 1/4th Mandrin. Lets not stop there of these 1/3 are Christians, 1/3 Hindus and 1/3 Muslims with no group speaking the same language. This is India.

US wants to keep India as a check for China, Pakistan as a check for India..well they know Pakistan will not go anywhere so...lets not worry about a check for them ;)

War, religion, caste, language, and coaliton govt will ensure that India will NEVER succeed. Maybe this is the reason China does not look at India as a competitor these days.
